Cummin Seeds - 1 tsp
Star Anise - 3 pcs
Mutton Curry Powder - 4 tbsp

Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tbsp
Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup (thick milk)

Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Garlic & Ginger Paste - 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - to taste

Method:
Clean mutton and cut to the pieces you desire. Season with salt, turmeric poweder, garlic & ginger paste, and pepper powder  for abt 15 mins. Add enough water and pressure cook the mutton (4 whistles).

Heat oil in a pan. Add cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds, cummin seeds, onions, and curry leaves and a bit salt. Saute until onion turns golden brown. Add potatoes and enough water. When potatoes become a bit tender, add tomatoes and let them cook for a while.

Now slowly add the cooked mutton and the masala powders: (red chilli powder, mutton curry powder, coriander powder, cumin powder) and cook for 5 mins so that the masala will get into the meat.

Now as the curry is boiling add the coconut milk, and mix well. (You can add few cashew for extra flavor). Remove from heat after 3 mins.

Garnish with chopped fresh coriander and mint leaves.

N.B.
You can also avoid potatoes if you wish, but adding potatoes will give you increase in consistency and enhances flavor too.
